Vlychada Port
The Sailing and Yachting Center is also found in Vlychada, in the small charming port close to the beach. Small yachts and boats anchor in the marina there and you can enjoy a meal including fresh fish in the local, traditional taverns.

Red and White Beach
More beaches can for instance be found in the south, near the village of Akrotiri (Red Beach and White Beach). Picturesque Red Beach or Kokkini Ammos has reddish sand and a steep and high rising black and red rock / lava cliff behind it. Next to Red Beach is the smaller White Beach or Asprh Paralia which is only accessible by boat. This beach is a pebble beach – an many of these pebbles are quite large – which is surrounded by high white cliffs.

Black Mountain
The black lava rocks are prehistoric creations with unusual and surreal shapes. Τhis area in the south of the island is not reachable by car. The only way to discover the volcanic beauty of the coast is a boat trip.

Lighthouse
The Akrotiri Lighthouse overlooks the Aegean Sea from atop the Greek island of Santorini. Towering above the sea from rocky cliffs, the lighthouse offers amazing views of the water, local villages, and ancient Minoan ruins. The lighthouse is a must-see for anyone visiting the island.

Hot Springs of Nea Kameni

The island of Nea Kameni, also known as the Santorini volcano, is a volcanic island at the centre of the impressive Santorini caldera. Nea Kameni was formed around 1570 after a series of volcanic eruptions. Its highest point is 127 m above the sea level and it has two ports east (cove of Taxiarchis) and north of the island (cove of Erinia).

Thirasia Island
Thirasia belongs to Santorini island complex and is opposite of Oia. Its today’s shape is what was left from Stroggili west coast after the volcano’s eruption in 1.500 B.C. The imposing natural landscape with impressive geological formations, well preserved folk architecture of houses and churches, the amazing view of Santorini, Palaia and Nea Kameni and the scenic Korfos coast with traditional taverns are the main features of this beautiful but not very popular island.

Old Port of Ammoudi
The area of Ammoudi consists of a small, lovely harbor that is probably the most picturesque location of the island.  Is encircled by the impressive high red cliffs and it is considered the most picturesque area of  Santorini Approximately 300 narrow and steep steps lead the way between Ammoudi and Oia.
