Lost Atlantis Museum
Atlantis is the most famous mythological island of all times. It was considered to be a utopia. Its impact in literature and the arts is prominent through the centuries. The Lost Atlantis experience museum was created in Santorini, one of the alleged location of mythological island of Atlantis.
Emporio Village
A village with a strong medieval character filled with impressive corners and amazing photo opportunities such as the two iconic blue domed churches with the levelled bell towers. Emporio is the largest village on the southeast side of the island according to the recent statistics (2011) with it’s population counting 4.000 people all year long. Most of its residents during the summer months are dealing with tourism while during the winter they are farming their land. Emporio also has an appreciable number of economic migrants from the Balkan countries who are also working in tourism and farm work.
Perivolos Black Beach
Perivilos Beach is a famous location for wedding receptions and the most cosmopolitan and lively beach resort in Santorini that hums with activity. Located on the south east coast of the island, 3 kilometers away from Perissa, it is easily accessible by bus or rental car. It lies between Perissa Beach and Agios Georgios Beach, that all together, in actual fact, form one pretty long beach and you can go on foot from one to the other.The beach has got deep sparkling waters and is covered in black lava sand, which is typical in Santorini beaches.
